VP of Strategic Initiatives

Jake Dukes

Jake joined the Camp Southern Ground team in March of 2018. He is a leadership coach, speaker and author who served for many years on executive teams of large churches focused on developing staff and overseeing campus operations.

VP Of Design & Construction

Ben Ferguson

Ben has been with Camp Southern Ground over 5 years, and is responsible for construction strategy and planning and construction management. With over 30 years as a licensed general contractor, Ben is a veteran of the design-build, commercial construction industry in the metro Atlanta area.

Camp Director

Scott Hicok

Scott joined the Camp Southern Ground team in February, 2018. His responsibilities include developing, marketing, and running all of Camp Southern Ground’s summer camp and youth development programs.

Facilities Director

Jason Trotter

Jason joined the Camp Southern Ground team in 2015 and is responsible for facility management. He has a diverse background in landscape architecture, construction, management, safety, and EMS.

Event & Corporate Hospitality Director

Jessica Kilgallen

Jessica joined the Camp Southern Ground team in September 2016. Her responsibilities include event sales, event management, retreat sales and corporate hospitality.

Director Of Philanthropic Relations

Joyce Gaglione

Joyce joined Camp Southern Ground in 2012 and is responsible for “Ways to Give” resources, donor/volunteer engagement, fundraising initiatives, promotions, tours, charity event planning, sponsorship/donor management, grant writing, database management, and camp management assistance.

Program Director

Stan Tucker

Stan joined the camp team in November, 2016. His responsibilities include camp programming, American Camp Association compliance and accreditation, and mini Camps.

Communications Coordinator

Desiree Morris

Desiree joined the camp team in December 2011. Her responsibilities include communications, donor gift acknowledgement and recognition, office management and support, volunteer coordination, and camp and fundraiser event support.

Spokesperson & Military Advisor

Johnny "Joey" Jones

Combat-wounded Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Johnny “Joey” Jones turned a traumatic, life-changing disability into a personal mission to improve the lives of all veterans. Joey is the Chief Spokesperson for Zac Brown’s Southern Ground, which produces an array of quality products and services all to financially sustain Camp Southern Ground.
