Summer Jobs
We hire for a variety of positions during the summer. Please review the openings below before you begin your application to ensure you apply for the position that is the best fit for you.
Community Positions
Positions in this area will live in the lodge with the campers or other staff. Counselors will be in bunk with campers and lead them throughout the day.
General Counselors
Stay in bunk with a tribe of campers, provide care for campers, lead them in adventures, teach campers new skills, and help campers navigate the social environment of camp.
Staff Coordinator
Train and support General Counselors develop skills in camper management, camper intervention, and strategies to help campers thrive at camp. Staff Coordinators give weekly feedback to counselors. Candidates should have previous camp or management experience.
Staff Director
Oversee all General Counselors and Staff Coordinators. The Staff Director will oversee the development of staff and campers, while providing assistance to staff when dealing with camper interactions. Staff Directors give weekly feedback to Staff Coordinators and will be a part of our mid-season and final reviews at camp.
Nurse
Oversee the health and wellness at camp. Give out medications and tend to daily medical needs. Must be a registered nurse.
Activity Positions
Activity positions lead all campers through different programs throughout the day. They will plan, organize, lead, and set up areas during the day. Areas that staff will be working within: Arts/Crafts, Culinary, Music, Mountain Biking, Archery, Engineering.
Activity Coordinator
Responsible for scheduling, leading, and refining of all camp activities/programs. Must have the ability to teach and lead small/large groups.
Lifeguard
Our lifeguards will be monitoring the pool area most of the day. They will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pool area when the pool is not in session. Lifeguards must be lifeguard certified.
Aquatics Director
Run the daily operations of our pool. The Aquatics Director will be responsible for a team of 4 lifeguards and the safety of the staff and campers. Must have pool/aquatic director experience.
Ropes Director
Oversee our high ropes course. The Ropes Director will maintain the high ropes adventure course, low ropes program, our mega zipline and assist with daily logistics. ACCT Level 1/2 Certification preferred. Must have significant lead ropes experience.
Inclusion Positions
As an inclusive camp, we provide additional support specifically for our campers with special needs. Inclusion staff provide support, resources, accommodation, and intervention when needed for our campers with different abilities. They live in shared housing with other inclusion staff.
Inclusion Counselors
Inclusion counselors are each assigned 2-3 tribes per session. They provide support for campers with different abilities within those tribes to ensure they get the full camp experience. Requires education/experience working with kids who have neurodevelopmental differences.
