MIKE DOBBS PRESIDENT & CEO

Mike joined the camp team in March, 2016 and is responsible for strategy, development, and leadership. He has over 25 years of leadership experience with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 and has a broad background in marketing, sales, development, operations, real estate, architecture, construction and general management.  He has also enjoyed board and committee roles in working with non-profits such as Skyland Trail, The Westminster Schools, Metro Atlanta YMCA, Zoo Atlanta and Young Life.  His passion is in transforming visions into reality and serving others.

DRAKE BIVINS COO/CFO

Drake joined Camp Southern Ground in early 2012 and is responsible for accounting and finance, operations, human resources and information technology. He brings over 28 years of business experience to Camp Southern Ground. With expertise in areas such as real estate business management, retail management, construction, and professional management, he is proficient in financial planning, budgeting and operations.

BEN FERGUSON DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

Ben has been with Camp Southern Ground over 5 years, and is responsible for construction strategy and planning and construction management. With over 30 years as a licensed general contractor, Ben is a veteran of the design-build, commercial construction industry in the metro Atlanta area. He brings to the team his areas of specialization including all aspects of construction management for developing high-end retail prototypes, class-A office interiors, restaurants, production studios, medical offices, and surgery centers as well as construction of buildings under four stories. STAN TUCKER PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Stan joined the camp team in November, 2016. His responsibilities include camp programming, American Camp Association compliance and accreditation, and mini Camps. A former second grade teacher in Cobb County, Stan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Urban Education from Kennesaw State University. Stan brings a tremendous passion for working with young people, and understands how to connect with kids so they feel welcomed, supported, and valued. Jason joined the Camp Southern Ground team in 2015 and is responsible for facility management, grounds and landscaping, and maintenance. He has a diverse background in landscape architecture, construction, management, safety, and EMS.
